One of the critical strategies for the guest journey design is about obviously holistic wellness and sustainability, we are developing specific wearable technology, not only the smart room. The key is to showcase to the guest their improved lifestyle by collecting detailed data. Providing that wearable technology, we can monitor specific data and the overall experience, similar to fitness bracelets. Basically, we are introducing something we called the "health concierge" .

---- THE AFTER TRAVEL

The idea is really to start the connection with guest pre-arrival to understand their personality and profile. Once they arrive, through the wearable technology, used as well as a key to their room, spa, and other activities, we can start collecting the data to design their adventures and experiences, their spa program, and their food menu. We want to do this from the beginning of check-in to check-out, to show the guest their improvement, lifestyle change and wellness progress.

---- THE AFTER TRAVEL

The architecture is inspired by local coastal building traditions and stands on wooden piles dissolving the boundary between land and fjord. The shape of the hotel provides a panoramic view of the fjord and an experience of living in proximity to nature.

Svart is the first building to be designed and built according to the highest energy efficiency standards in the northern hemisphere. Will save 85% of its annual energy consumption.

---- THE REVIEW

Mapping the movement of the sun's rays, the architects decided that a circular structure topped with solar panels would provide optimum levels of light throughout the day and across different seasons. Recessed terraces have been integrated along the hotel's facade that shade rooms during the summer, replacing the presence of artificial cooling systems. Fronted by a large window, rooms can also exploit the sun's thermal energy during the colder weather.
