球子山燈塔原是軍事營地,雖已廢棄不用多時,仍有不少遺留下來的軍事設施。偶見「閒人勿入」的警示標語,然而仍有人視而不見,直接穿越進入,誠然為君子而設。

胡達華
1938年生,素人釘畫藝術創作家
1938年,胡達華於新北市瑞芳區九份出生,在山城度過青澀時期的他,成年後到臺北從事五金業為生活打拼;隨著歲月更迭,故鄉九份因日趨商業化、異鄉人湧入而驟變。憂心故鄉, 古樸生活、景觀風貌消失殆盡,退休後,胡達華以最熟悉的金屬媒材,創作獨樹一格的訂畫,把童年對山海、人事、景物的記憶,一釘一槌地幻化成生動場景,躍入觀者腦海,讓故鄉的百年礦山風采永續傳承。
作者的話
我的創作,在敲敲打打中已有20年。因作品不同於一般的油畫、水彩 畫等,是用「釘子」把剪成碎片的廢棄鐵、鋁罐片钉在木板上組成一幅畫。 由於在美術史沒有屬性的媒材及名稱,我自取名為「釘畫】
從1995年開始不拘題材初期試作,到1997年正式以「釘釘九份景, 畫畫故鄉情」的心情以九份為題材進行一系列挤出故鄉的容顏。2001年 第一次個展,由於材料和製作方法的特別,很快引起外界的注意,電視及報 刊雜誌爭相採訪之下,在藝壇上逐漸打響知名度,在各地公開發表後,受到議論是必然的。此時國內、外,邀請展不斷。
2006年後就有國、內外各地的風光景色盡收於我的作品中。
2010—2014年有企業、集團指訂畫作,大約有30幅大小不一的作品。 2015以後年的作品加入黑色鋁線勾畫線條、人體素描、風景、圖騰(加入拉鍊、鈕扣、飾品、布類等)完成作品。 2001—2021年展覽經歷:國內、外個展五十餘次,參加畫會、文創會聯展三十餘次。
時光飛逝,20年來我仍堅守我的創作理念,以【世界無污染,資源回 收再利用】把所有的複合媒材不外加其它顏色,需要用較長的時間去尋找色 源,才能把一張張的作品細膩的表現出來。以鐵鎚當畫筆,剪刀當調色盤, 鐵釘畫筆觸,鐵、鋁皮當顏料,自由發揮空間大。
「斬釘截鐵二十年」這本畫冊是我20年來的作品集錦,以作為我人生 80 追憶的一部份。 各界朋友多多指導。最後以謝里法教授勉勵之言:把藝術當作一條長路,再 艱難也一定要勇敢走下去,這一生就是藝術人生。

Darfar Hu
Born in 1938, Self-taught Metal Mosaic Artist
Hu was born in Jioufen, Ruifang District in today's New Taipei City in 1938 and spent his youth here before moving to Taipei where he made his living in the hardware business. As time passed, his hometown Jioufen became ever more commercialized and outsiders flooded in, changing it drastically. Worried that the simple life of his hometown and the familiar scenery would disappear forever, after retirement he used the familiar medium of metal to create unique metal mosaics, using hammer and nails to create vivid mosaics of ocean and mountain scenery, people, and scenes he remembered from his childhood, implanting the splendor of 100 years of mining in the area in the minds of viewers.
Artist's words
My creations have been in all the hamming and nails for 20 years. My works are quite different from ordinary oil paintings and watercolor paintings, they are made from "nails" to "nail scrapers", iron and aluminum cans that have been cut into pieces on a wooden board to form a painting. Since there are no attributes and names in art history, I named myself "Nail Painting" or you can call it "Metal Mosaic".
In 1995, Hu started his initial trial work without sticking to the subject matter. In 1997, he officially made a series of extruding the face of his hometown with Jiufen as the theme, in the mood of "Nailing Jiufen Scenery, Painting Hometown Feelings". The first solo exhibition in 2001, due to the special materials and production methods, quickly attracted the outside world's attention. TV, newspapers, and magazines scrambled for interviews, and gradually gained popularity in the art world. After being publicly published in various places, it is inevitable to be discussed. At this time, domestic and foreign invitational exhibitions continued.
After 2006, the scenery at home and abroad has been collected in my works.
From 2010 to 2014, there were paintings designated by enterprises and groups, and there were about 30 works of different sizes. After 2015, black aluminum lines were added to the works to draw lines, human sketches, landscapes, and totems (zippers, buttons, accessories, cloth, etc.) were added to complete the works. Exhibition experience from 2001 to 2021: more than 50 solo exhibitions at home and abroad, and participated in more than 30 joint exhibitions of painting and cultural and creative conferences.
Time flies. For 20 years, I still adhere to my creative concept and use [world pollution-free, resource recycling] to make all composite media without adding other colors. Zhang's works are exquisitely expressed. With a hammer as a paintbrush, scissors as a palette, iron nails as brushstrokes, and iron and aluminum skins as paints, there is a lot of freedom to play.
The album "Twenty Years of Decisiveness" is a collection of my works over the past 20 years as part of the 80 years of my life. Friends from all walks of life guide. In the end, I take the words of Professor Sherifa's encouragement: regard art as a long road, no matter how difficult it is, we must go on bravely, this life is the life of art.
